The assessment will include preliminary information on the visa conditions and how you meet the eligibility requirements. Once you agree to use our service we will process your visa application through to completion. An ETA or Electronic Travel Authority and is a 'paperless' authority for travel to Australia. It replaces the visa label or stamp in your passport. An ETA removes the need for application forms and enables passengers to be processed more quickly on arrival in Australia.

You will need to apply for your Australia ETA Visa at your nearest Australian Embassy or Consulate.

Your Business ETA Visa is a short-term visa that is valid for one year from your date of application (or until your passport expiry date – whichever is sooner), but it only allows you to stay in Australia for a maximum duration of three months.

On an E-Visitor Permit you can stay in Australia for up to three months on each visit within a 12 month period from the date of issue.

When you apply for an Oz Business ETA Visa or E-Visitor you can either pay by Visa, Mastercard, cheque or cash by phone, fax or by post.

No, please DO NOT send your passport! Completing your ETA application accurately and making the correct payment is all that's required. Visa First cannot be responsible for the loss of your passport if you send it.

Provided you qualify, your application will be approved usually within moments of the time we process your application. Most applications are processed within 24 hours of receiving your data during business hours from Monday to Saturday. Applications received after office hours or on Sundays are processed the next working day.

E-Visitor Visas cannot be processed automatically so the processing time is between 2-10 workings days.

As soon as your application has been approved we will email you. Provided you are flying on an 'approved' airline, your visa details will automatically be logged into the airline's computer prior to boarding. Your 'paperless' ETA visa will automatically allow you entry into Australia upon arrival.

All ETA Visa and E-Visitor Permit applications are subject to the approval of the Australian Immigration Authorities, and this approval is based on accurate information provided by the applicant. In the unlikely event your application is rejected, regretfully Visa First cannot refund your application fee. It is therefore advisable that you do not finalise your airline booking or travel arrangements to Australia until your Oz Visa is approved.

Once you’re submitting you’re application you are providing the passport information. After that the confirmation letter that you receive contains only your passport number. If your application was lodged online you should have kept a copy of it for your records. Otherwise there is no way to find out the dates because the confirmation letter that you receive contains only your full name, date of birth, the Client ID and the application ID along with the Transaction Reference number.

If you don’t use your Australian Business visa within its validity it will simply expire. This won’t prevent you of applying for another visa when you need to travel again to Australia.

There is no need to have a visa stamp in your passport if your visa is an electronic one because it’s electronically linked to your passport details. Upon arrival in Australia the officers will scan your passport and will see that you have a valid visa to Australia.

Complaints Process:
  1. Where an official complaint is received by Visa First, the company will record the nature of the complaint and issue an acknowledgement email to the client within 5 business days of receiving the complaint. The acknowledgement will provide the client with the contact name who is responsible for dealing with the complaint. The official complaint must be made by email (you may also write, although this will slow down the process), and confirm that the client wishes to enter this process. Please email your complaint to
  2. Visa First will investigate the complaint as swiftly as possible and where applicable, the complainant will receive a regular written update on the progress of the investigation at intervals of not more than 20 business days.
  3. Visa First will try to resolve the complaint within 40 business days of having received the complaint. If the complaint cannot be resolved within 40 business days, the Firm will write to the complainant notifying them of the anticipated timeframe for the conclusion of the investigation.
  4. Within 5 business days of the conclusion of the investigation of the complaint, Visa First will issue a resolution letter detailing the outcome of the investigation. This letter will include, if applicable, an explanation of the terms of any offer that the company is prepared to make in settlement of the complaint.
